Hello there

Its been a while I shared anything with you all. I am here with yet another card similar to my previous cards, though I did not liked it much :P but still want to share my ever growing love for distress inks. What I liked the most about this was the background ..
have a look

for background I started with plain white card stock , inked with moved lawns distress ink and then I have stamped the pattern using versamark , used black embossing powder and heat set ..

Side view

Close-up
(All flowers are handmade- started with white card stock colored them using  distress inks  )

Another view without facing the sun .

Please do leave a comment and let me know what do you think about this.

In Love with Cards !!!

Hello Everyone

Just another card. This piece of work carries lots of details and I really Liked the final outcome.

Warning - Picture heavy post ( I guess most of my post comes with this warning :P )

Have a look -

Back ground is super inky. There is loads of stamping , distressing and embossing done on the background.
For background I have used a plain white card stock ..( Firstly ) Stamped  it with gathered twigs distress inks & stamp which I have used is  music vintage script. Then I distressed the whole background using fried burlap distress inks and finally distressed the edges with vintage photo .

Here comes the second layer of stamping - for this I  have used Hero arts clings stamps. I have stamped these flower patterns with rusty hinge distress inks and it looks absolutely perfect and totally loved the color combinations .

And Lastly I have stamped these butterflies using versamark embossing ink & gold embossing powder . Heat set it !

After embossing I have colored the stamped background with gold acrylic color added some glitter and little bit of pencil shading with orange color . And for butterflies I have used ripe permission and Gathered twigs distress inks to color and Finally I have covered the butterflies with a coat of glossy accents .

And finally coming over to the love of my Hand made flowers , small ones are punched and the big one I have used a Die . Love the big flower distressed it with vintage photo and lastly as always glimmer misted .Oops I forgot to mention have added cute little pearl head pins absolutely adorable ...

Sentiment is from Kaisercraft .!! Pheww that was all for today, Hope you all liked it .

Lulupu Challenge #10 ~ Birthday Blog Hop Day 8

Hello Everyone!

www.lulupu.com turns 1 this month and we are all happy and celebrating!

I joined the Lulupu team just 2 months ago (and I'm still counting :P) and it has been a learning experience so far. I had the amazing opportunity and a golden chance to work with some talented and expert crafters and to be able to share my work with you all. I wish Lulupu  - A very happy First birthday!!

March is going to be fun at Lulupu - The Craft Lounge! There will be many giveaways and tonnes of fun so do ensure you follow Lulupu all around FB, Twitter, Pinterest and Youtube! To kick start the celebration we have a Lulupu Design Team Blog Hop along with the monthly challenge. So if you have landed at this post just now, you can start HERE and join us in this fun filled week !

Just to remind you crafters, for your entry to the blog hop to be valid you have to let us know about your participation by leaving a comment on our challenge post here.

Also, here's a chance to win an additional prize as a part of Lulupu's First Birthday Celebrations. One of the 8 Designers' blogs will be randomly chosen as a lucky blog and one of the comments on THAT blog will win a prize. Isn't that great?? So how can you ensure that you are in the running for this prize? It's simple! Leave a comment on all blogs, so that your comment has a chance of winning when the lucky blog is chosen!

Also... we have this Birthday Bash prize running on Facebook. You can find it here. All you have to do is, share it on your blog and leave a comment on our Facebook Page and share the picture.

And now's let's talk about my project for Lulupu Challenge #10 - Let's Celebrate.

As the challenge suggests, we were to take inspiration from a fellow Design Team member and create a project that celebrates.... well... just about anything. My inspiration was Karuna's Di Side step card.

What I loved about this card was the special folds and of course yellow colour (so in love with yellow colour these days :P). And this gives me a chance to create my second ever side step card .

Since the theme this month is celebration , I thought to make a card saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!

Here's my Side step card !!
The base of the this card was the regular white card stock , & again I have used the gorgeous Follow your Heart Be Amazing 6x6 paper pad and Washi tape.

These super cute fishes have been stamped using Micia - fishy love stamp and fussy cut. I have hand drawn and fussy cut  these little adorable caps . Isn't it cute ?

Balloons have been simply punched and I have pasted the balloons over raffia and tied them with a ribbon to make a bunch .

Ooops! I forgot to mention the Cake!! It has been hand drawn and fussy cut too.

So , here is my inspired project with Celebration theme.
Hope you all like it !!

Here is the list to track you Blog Hop which will end on 15th March, you still have time to enter you name for the exciting blog hop here
