Good Morning Everyone !!

Another take on Shabby chic. I never understood the definition of Shabby Chic - layering , softer shades of pinks , neutrals , vintage etc etc etc, but I know one thing I love shabby chic .

Well I may have not done justice to this  but this is my version of shabby chic. So please avoid if you don't like it !!

I know its not exactly shabby chic but i still find it somehow :P

There is so much of detailing to this card . First the back ground , take a closer view 

Its a super inky background . I started with masking first and for this i have used the gorgeous stencils from TCW which I got them from Die cuts and More . Stencils which i have used are Damask and chevron both from TCW . Secondly i distress the whole background with seedless preserves distress ink , for masking I used dusty concord and shaded lilac distress inks from Rangers . And lastly I dry embossed my background with Spell binders M- bossabilities.

All the flowers are handmade , I am so much in love making handmade flowers .

All the flower are colored using distress inks. And I have misted the flower using Ranger mister gumball pink color , although its not visible but in person its looks absolutely gorgeous, for the flourish I have used Memory box elegant scrolls .

Just Another Card !!!

Hello everyone ....

Quick post !! Nothing special , just another card . I was trying my hands on handmade flowers ( grr.. wasted loads of paper :P but managed to make few ) . So I decided to use it on my card .

Here's my card ..

Yeyyy I finally used my Marianne die.

Oh yess !! I made the flower and Loving my misters as well . I have colored the flower using misters and love the effect after it dries up .

I know the center is not that neat , Since this was my first try so please avoid that :P

Pearls and big blue stone from my stash .

This picture was clicked facing the sun , I just loved the mister effect makes it look more like metallic finish what do you think ????

Just a card !!!

Hello there !!

Today I am sharing a card which I made few days back . Actually I was trying to create background  or you can say experimenting and it came out really well. So i decided to use it in my card .
Have a look...

First I embossed (dry )the cardstock using Spell binders M- Bossabilities , then i stamped the background with a script text stamp from bo bunny and lastly i distressed the background with distress inks yeeyy i love distress inks !!! I know, I have not done this step by step as it is supposed to be done, already told you just an experiment but I really liked the final outcome. So i decided to add some handmade flower to dress the background .

All flowers are handmade .

Added MFT flourish , i have used black glitter rubber sheets for the same . Distress inks that i have used are Rusty hinge , mustard seed and peeled paint .

Another valentines project to share .... phweeee !!
Making something lovey dovey sort of projects is always a hard nut to crack for me, seeing everyone coming up with amazing projects motivated me to give another shot to these V- day projects . Without wasting time 
have a look .... 

Warning - picture heavy post 

SO much to talk about .. i have added American crafts XOXO pp perfect for valentines , i have added mulberry flower and handmade tigerlilies ( yellow and pink ) and sentiment is from fiskars . other pattern papers are from life is good echo park collection . And victorian flourish from cherry lynn and butterfly 

let's un-tie the ribbon :P 

and we have card inside .. isn't it cute ??

wat say ? there is so much of detailing to this card ! although it look very clean and simple .

Background is stamped using stampers anonyomous wood grain stamp and heat embossed using clear embossing powder ( rangers ) and distressed the background with spun sugar distress ink

chevron strips are stamped with vintage photo distress inks my fav.. distressed the edges with vintage photo.

The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed using black embossing powder from rangers . Again handmade lilies and small flowers are stamped and colored with bic markers and flat pearls in the center (looks cute)

and these dots are also stamped ..

Lovey dovey LOVE album !!!

Since Valentines day is around the corner and Love is in the air , I thought its perfect time to lay my hands on   my Love shape MDF album . Its been in my stash for around couple of months now & i finally got a chance to work on it ( ooops i was waiting for this lovey dovey month :P )

okay please be easy on me this is my first attempt on MDF .. i have never ever worked on mdf before !!

I have used the Echo park Love story Paper collection . In Love with these papers, it was really hard for me to run scissors across these gorgeous papers :(

I have made this Gardenia flower all by my self , i know its lil bad but it was my firsts attempt and have even spritz some pearl glimmer mist over it .
